Summary: Aidan traced the thin chain around his neck, rubbing the infinity pendant between his fingers. No longer a symbol of their everlasting love, it was something he touched in anger when he thought of Sage. It was the only thing of hers that still remained with him, the last possession which still connected them together, as he’d burned everything else a long time ago.
Beta: Unreconstructedfangirl (although chapter 4 is unbetaed for now).

One second she was vamped out and hunched over the human corpse on the floor, mouth covered in blood, the next she had jumped up to attack him. Eric was faster and stronger, throwing her aside would have required no effort on his part, but he remained in place, letting her claw at him.

“You’re wrong, you know.”
“How so?”
“We do deserve each other.”
“Why does that sound so ominous?”
“Maybe it is.”

“Are you hungry? I brought you some True Blood from the bar last night.”
“I don’t want any.”
“Are you sure?”
“It looks clumpy,” Eric grumbled.
“Yeah well, it’s either this or nothing. I don’t have a fridge full of faeries for you to kill whenever you want to eat.”

Whoever recommended Healing Blood to me I love you! I haven’t cried over a fanfic that much. This was one of the most emotional beautiful Eric & Sookie stories I have ever read.
“Hey, it’s my birthday. I’ll be an ass if I want to.”“What’s your excuse for the other 364 days of the year?”

“Getting ready to run?”
“No,” Sookie replied, shooting him an irritated look. “That’s your thing.”

Those who loved Back and Forth by California Kat well her squeal started today and it’s called Come Back to Me. Here’s the summary
Now that Sookie and Eric have found their way to each other at last, Bill might just be the least of their worries. How will they deal with the threats that will try to separate them forever? will their bonds survive?
Sookie lies in the dark, her heart numb, her body tired, wondering how many more loved ones she’ll have to say goodbye to. She never imagined Tara would be on that dreaded list but her best friend is now gone from this world, and Sookie has no one to blame but herself.
The funeral was earlier today, and while Tara’s mom cried hysterically for her only daughter, both Sookie and Lafayette sat there still, quiet, unable to shed any tears.
Lafayette has lost the two people he loved dearly within hours of each other, and Sookie knows she should try harder to reach out to him, but a part of her is grateful he rejected her help and asked to be left alone. That’s all she wants now too; it’s just easier.
Sensing his presence nearby, Sookie sits up and finds Eric standing by the door, staring at her intently. Eyes locked, frozen in place, they study each other, hesitant and unsure of what to say.
It’s a long time before he finally speaks and his words surprise her.
“Are you alright?” he asks.
He may be dressed as the vampire she often hated but the concern on his face is a direct reflection of the Eric she fell in love with.
She contemplates lying to him but realises it wouldn’t be right. “I guess so. I can’t really feel anything.”
“Is there anything you need?”
“No.”
Although his expression reverts back to one of apathy she can feel the increasing restlessness lurking inside him.
“If you find yourself in trouble, contact Pam. She’s been instructed to help you.”
“Why Pam?”
“Because I won’t be here.”
She waits for him to elaborate but he offers no explanation.
Instead his tone grows icy-cold and his gaze finally leaves her face. “Neither will Bill. We have to disappear for a while.”
“Can I come with you?” she asks, surprising herself.
He doesn’t answer right away, but his cold mask changes to one of tenderness when he finally replies. “No, it wouldn’t be safe for you with me.”
“Oh.”
She lies back down, turns to her side, and waits for him to leave. When he finally moves, it’s to slip in next to her in bed and bring her closer to him.
Suddenly she finds herself shaking, trembling, crying for everything she’s lost and about to lose. He says nothing, simply holding her tightly as she sobs desperately in his arms.
When she wakens a few hours later, he’s no longer beside her. She’s alone once again, her heart numb, her body tired.
